Getting Started - Setup Facebook and Instagram Messenger

Connect your Facebook and Instagram Messenger to Revo Digital so you can manage all social media messages from one inbox. Never miss a DM again — respond to Facebook and Instagram messages right alongside your SMS, email, and chat conversations.

Connect Facebook Messenger

Navigate to Settings > Integrations.

Find Facebook and click Connect (or Manage if already connected).

Log in to your Facebook account and authorize Revo Digital.

Select the Facebook Page(s) you want to connect for Messenger.

Enable the Messenger toggle for each page.

Click Save.

New Facebook messages will now appear in your Conversations tab.

Connect Instagram Messenger

Instagram DMs are connected through the same Facebook integration (since Meta manages both).

Make sure your Instagram account is a Business or Creator account (not Personal).

Ensure your Instagram account is linked to your Facebook Page in Meta Business Settings.

In Revo Digital, navigate to Settings > Integrations > Facebook.

Enable the Instagram toggle for the connected Facebook Page.

Instagram DMs will now flow into your Conversations tab.

If you don't see the Instagram option, verify that your Instagram account is properly linked to your Facebook Page in Meta Business Suite.

Reply to Messages

All Facebook and Instagram messages appear in the Conversations tab with a platform icon indicating the source.

Click on any conversation to read and reply.

Your replies are sent back through the same platform (Facebook Messenger or Instagram DM).

You can also view the contact's full history — including SMS, email, and other interactions — in the same conversation view.

Automate Messenger Responses

Use Workflows to automate responses to common Messenger inquiries.

Navigate to Automation > Workflows.

Create a workflow with the trigger: Facebook Messenger Message Received or Instagram DM Received.

Add actions like auto-reply with a welcome message, ask qualifying questions, or route to a team member.

This ensures every social media inquiry gets an instant response, even outside business hours.
