Getting Started - Import Existing Contacts
Your audience is the heartbeat of your business. Quickly import your existing contacts from various platforms into one convenient space and start engaging immediately. Having all your contacts together means less hassle, more effective outreach, and building stronger relationships right away.

How to Import Contacts
Streamlining your outreach starts with importing your contacts. Follow these straightforward steps to ensure a smooth import:
Navigate to Contacts in the main menu.
Click the Import button at the top of the contacts list.
Select your import source — you can upload a CSV file or connect to another platform.
Map your CSV columns to the corresponding Revo Digital contact fields (name, email, phone, etc.).
Review the mapping and click Import to begin the process.
Once complete, your contacts will appear in the Contacts list ready for engagement.
Tip: Make sure your CSV file has clean data — remove duplicates and ensure email/phone formats are consistent before importing.
How to Create New Custom Fields
Personalize your contact data to match your unique business needs. Creating custom fields lets you capture exactly the information you find valuable, allowing for precise targeting and richer insights.
Navigate to Settings > Custom Fields.
Click Add Field.
Choose the field type (text, dropdown, date, checkbox, etc.).
Enter the field name, group, and placeholder text.
Click Save to create the field.
Your new custom field will now be available when importing contacts and on contact cards.
Bulk Contact Actions
Effortlessly manage large groups of contacts with powerful bulk actions. Whether you're adding tags, sending emails, or initiating automations, bulk actions save you time and amplify your efficiency.
Navigate to Contacts > Smart Lists.
Apply filters to target your audience (by tag, source, date added, etc.).
Select contacts using the checkboxes on the left.
Use the toolbar at the top to perform bulk actions like sending an Email or SMS, adding tags, or starting workflows.
Standard Contact Fields During Import
Below is a list of the standard contact fields that can be used when importing contacts:
First Name, Last Name, Full Name, Email, Phone, Date of Birth, Address, City, State, Postal Code, Country, Company Name, Website, Source, Tags.
You can also map to any custom fields you've created in Settings > Custom Fields.
